Artistic Toy Manufacturing, Allentown, Pa., announced that its former sales manager purchased the company on Dec. 29.
Katrina Marshall, who held the position for 11 years, acquired the assets to form a new company, which will operate under the name Artistic Toys & Promotions LLC.
“I am humbled and honored to see Katrina take Artistic Toy into the future,” Jim Socci, CAS, president of Artistic Toy Manufacturing, said in a press release. “She has a talented team behind her and a client base that loves her and our products.”
While an employee at Artistic Toy Manufacturing, Marshall was in charge of multiple aspects of the company’s daily operations, from dressing stuffed animals to handling contract negotiations.
“I am confident in the future success of the company, and will continue to focus on quality products and superior customer service,” Marshall said.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
