Prime Line Supports Local Read Aloud Program

Prime Line CEO Jeff Lederer (pictured) and employees participated in a Read Aloud program in Bridgeport, Conn.

Prime Line is supporting a Read Aloud program in its hometown of Bridgeport, Conn., by having employees participate in classroom reading on a monthly basis, and with the donation of branded stress relievers to students.

A group of Prime Line employees, including CEO Jeff Lederer, recently visited classrooms at the Luis Marin Elementary School in Bridgeport and read aloud to students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

“It’s so important for young people to experience the joy of reading, and we’re trying to encourage that,” said Lederer.

Prime Line is also providing support to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Employees participate in quarterly events such as food and clothing drives in conjunction with activities initiated by the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

“Our staff is doing a wonderful job helping this organization make an impact in the community,” Lederer said. “They are an extension of the Prime family, and we are very proud of them.”

Prime Line and the Lederer family have established a rich tradition of supporting both industry and community causes, such as the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF), the Breast Cancer Alliance, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Susan’s Rock – Stand Strong Against Domestic Violence, and others.
